Photoshop
We have used Photoshop CS4 and Photoshop Elements 7 to create our poster and magazine cover for our movie. we have managed to use a variety of effects and tools incorporated within the Photoshop programs to create realistic and professional media texts like existing examples we have analysed in our research and planning.
Livetype
We have used Livetype to create our titles and subtitles for our movie trailer on Final Cut Express. we have used mainly fade in/outs in our titles as this follows conventional movie trailer aspects, where subtitles, taglines and dates are quickly faded in and out. this is done in trailers such as Sinister 2012. although we have added our own slant on our subtitles by fading in separate parts of the titles at different times.
Here are the various editing panels found on Livetype where we can edit the appearance, style, outline, and effects of our Livetype text. they can be used to create more imaginative and creative text that may represent our title and sub-genre more clearly. during the production of our subtitles, we used a wide variety of tools and effects available through Livetype. these include:
- opacity -colour -size -effects -transitions -shadows -layers |
