Producion company and Distributor
Blood Rush Productions
We thought by creating our own production company, we could be more creative and tailor it to fall in with our movie genre. We came up with the name 'blood rush' because it reflects horror films and the nature of our trailer. We chose the font because it looks paranormal and we thought this tied in with the theme of our trailer. By putting the L backwards it shows how paranormal horror can be messed up and give a distorted effect. We wrote 'blood' in red because the colour connotates blood and makes it stand out. The rest of the writing is in white because it creates a contrast between the white and red making the blood stand out which is what we wanted to achieve. the white color also symbolizes the vulnerability of the victims in the trailer. Existing production companies
Before creating our own production company we looked at what we liked about existing ones.
Twisted pictures
We liked how the name ties in with the films it produced as it resembles the gory sub-genre. Twisted pictures produces films like Saw (2004) which made 55,153,403, and Tortured (2009) and these films are known to be sick and twisted.

Distributer
as our distributor, we cose to use Warner Bros. Warner Bros are a very well established distributor of many successful movies ranging from Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011) to Contagion (2011) founded in 1918, Warner Bros Pictures has had a total income of 12.638 billion USD. This definately shows the commercial viability for our decision to choose them as our distributor. (jordan)
BoxOfficeGuru
In order to validate our decicision of choosing Warner Bros Pictures as our distributor, we have used a website called http://www.boxofficeguru.com/ this website shows all movies that have been released globally and shows the annual income that each movie has generated as well as its distributors.
