Social media is increasingly important to current film production. It is an invaluable tool to use in planning and market research as it offers a quick and direct link to the potential market for a film. The increase in mobile technology and social networks such as Facebook and Twitter has made it even easier than ever to see exactly what the target market want to see, as well as the possibility of receiving feedback on work already done. A lot of people liked the poster although there are some improvements. These include:
•Lowering the contrast between the image and background
•Making the split between each half of the image less prominent
•Enhance the eye colour of the image

Social media can help us receive specific opinions and answers from our target market in both qualititive and quantitive form. And with the increase in mobile technology, it is now very easy to 'tweet' a question and receive numurous replies within seconds. this tool can also allow us to gain thoughts from people not within our target market which can give us the opportunity to afdapt the trailer in order to potentially increase the target market.
